Firmware version 1.4

Release date: 17 November 2025

• Bug fix - radio no longer gets stuck in busy state.

• NEW! - the device can now go into deep sleep mode (command code A8), new devices with this firmware will come in deep sleep out of the box and will not have a plastic tab on the battery. In order to start the device for the first time you need to perform the wake-up procedure (consult the User Manual or the A8 command page).

• A feature has been implemented to prevent battery passivation when the device is in deep sleep mode.

• Improved device restarting radio command functionality - the device goes to sleep 20 seconds after the command has been received.

• A functionality has been implemented to add a random time offset (0 - 10 sec) to the keep alive sending time in order to avoid packet collisions.

Firmware version 1.3

Release date: 18 January 2025

• Fixed low battery voltage reading.

• Bugfixes in the notification blind time function.

• Default notification blind time changed from 0 minutes to 1 minute.

• Added a radio command to read the radio region.

• Added a radio command to restart the device.

Firmware version 1.2

Release date: 20 January 2023

• Added functionality to send device settings in the first radio packet to the server.

• Added device startup delay and LED test functionality.

• Fixed bug with command response after one iteration.

• Fixed bug regarding conf. uplinks watch-dog period, when keep-alive period changed.

• Removed the device reset functionality when you have not joined the LoRaWAN network for 5 attempts.

Known issues:

• Battery voltage readings might be reported as lower than they actually are. Don't be alarmed - device will continue operating as normal.

Firmware version 1.1

Release date: 23 September 2022

• FUOTA mechanism released

The FUOTA functionality differs from the FUOTA that's being used by the LoRa Alliance. In order to update the firmware version of devices, they should be connected to MClimate's cloud. It takes around 1500 downlinks to perform FUOTA. Due to duty-cycle limitations of the gateways, we recommend staging the FUOTA in smaller batches in case your installation is sizeable.
