# Buildings

We covered basic Building creation on the previous chapter of the documentation. We are going to go into detail on the main functionalities, features and parameters to be adjusted that relate to the Buildings in Enterprise.

The section contains information and instruction on how to configure the following:

* Building Dashboard - a summary of the main components
* Users - how to add/remove and assign rights
* Heating Profiles - creation and management for automating your building

The Main Enterprise screen has a list of all your Buildings, they are also listed in the sidebar. You can "Create a new building" from here, or open up an existing one either by pressing anywhere on the Building sub-window or on its name in the sidebar (you can also expand its levels if there are any and navigate to a specific one, directly).

Examples will be given on all possible use-cases. Lets start by looking at the main Building Dashboard. It is data packed and provides great insights at a glands at the overal state of the Building. It can easily point you to potential problems or areas ripe for optimization.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mclimate.eu/mclimate-enterprise/configuration-and-management/buildings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
